About The Millwork Specialist, LLC
The Millwork Specialist (TMS) is one of the premier architectural woodwork manufacturers on the East Coast, with the capacity and flexibility to handle all types of projects from offices and restaurants to historical renovations and institutional projects. Whether your requirements are for custom millwork and cabinetry, casework, trim or store fixtures, we can provide a complete turnkey package, including installation of all of our products.
Recognized for superior workmanship, our products have found wide acceptance in distant markets from Florida to California. TMS products have been installed in many elite facilities including The Homestead, Pinehurst and the Virginia Beach Performing Arts Center. We are a long-standing member of the Architectural Woodwork Institute and have been an AWI certified premium shop since 1999.
TMS was founded in 1938 and acquired by Patrick J. Karn in 1958. Our 65,000 square foot facility offers state of the art high production machinery and the ability to respond quickly to our clients needs. We have a complete finishing department with capacity to match custom finishes and stains. On-site finishing is available when required. TMS is dedicated to producing millwork of the highest quality with the utmost attention to detail made by the finest craftsmen in the industry. PVC has had a longstanding relationship with TMS. The two firms have partnered on hundreds of successful projects over the past 30 years and formalized their relationship in 2007 when PVC acquired a 50% interest in TMS.
