Laborer duties include the following but are not limited to:
- Clean up debris from job and put in jobsite dumpster
- Clean drywall mud splatter from all areas, taking care not to damage surfaces
- Vacuum up drywall dust from sanding
- Stock materials in building where directed by Superintendent and/or Foreman.
- Move materials around when necessary
- Help build scaffolding when necessary
- Help mechanics when necessary
- Insulation installation
Method of Compensation - Hourly with overtime approved by General Manager.
Work Schedule -Regular business hours 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with ½ hour for lunch.
Working Conditions -Driving to jobs. Moving around jobsites during all phases of construction. Required to talk, sit, stand, stoop, bend, reach, lift and walk. Noise level moderate.
Tools Required -All hand tools associated with the trade. (Power tools provided by PPD.)
Reports to: Directly to Jobsite Superintendent or Jobsite Foreman for work related to current job. Indirectly to General Superintendent for job assignments and productivity reviews.
